All colours are applied with brush, in following order:
a. (Only a standing model:) Paint the chassis "off-black" (satin black 35, mixed with a little white or grey).
b. Then paint the window frames in matt light grey (White 130 mixed with little black 35).
c. Body: SJ-brown. Mix brown 100 with a drop of black within. Do you have a stabel hand
(and the brush are super-fine and elastic!) you
can also paint the posts between the windows by free hand.
Otherwise you can mask it with tape.
d. Buffer beams and ploughs are painted in red 220
e. The rooft in dark grey (black 35 mixed with white 130).
f. Isolators: brown 100 mixed with little black.
g. Pantographs, tripods and roof cables: aluminium (silver 11 mixed with white 130 and grey 5).
h. Headlight reflectors: silver 11.
i. Ventilator grilles: mask and paint it dark grey (black 35 mixed with a little white).
j. Wheels: dark grey (black 35 mixed with a little white). The spokes on the end wheels: Grey 5, painted with a ultrafine brush or a steel nib and diluted paint - and a stable hand!
Some of the colours can feel too glossy (or matt) - this should be attended later, with matt/satin clear varnish!
