1. Introduction
A loco that should not be missing on any swedish model-railway, is the main-line express electric class F.
The loco, with a max. speed of 130 km/h, was built in 1942-49 in a number of 24.
In the sixties, the locos exterior was modernized with new window frames in rubber, new pantographs etc.
Compare with the picture!
This model will show the loco in its early days, in the fifties.
You can build it in two ways: as a a standing model, or a model with functon.
For the latter you need a motorized chassie, and I can suggest the german electric "E 17" from Arnold (cat. number 2456),
where the wheelbase is just 5 mm too long.
As a second alternative, you can take the "E 19" from Fleischmann (cat. number 7319), even if the wheelbase
on this chassie are 8 mm too long...
Materials and tools are simple (look at step 2) and the cost for these are pretty low!
Notice: this type of method can be a pattern for other models!
